Minutes of Meeting

  • CALL TO ORDER
  1. The meeting was called to order at 4:39pm, via Zoom Meeting.
  • ROLL CALL
  1. All Board members were present: Patrick Kevin, President; Daneen Haynes, Vice President; Larry Stout, Treasurer; Cindy Stout, Secretary.
  • MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS BOARD MEETING
  1. Minutes from the January 17, 2021, Board Meeting were reviewed and accepted.
  • REPORTS FROM BOARD MEMBERS
  1. Report from Secretary
  • Cindy Stout announced her plan to step down from her board position effective immediately and pledged to help out in any way during the transition.
  • The CC&R document filing (approved at the July, 2020, Annual Member Meeting) has been sent to King County for a fourth time. This KC department’s staff are working remotely which has added to the slow-down and challenges of working with multiple individuals in an attempt to satisfy whichever staff member reviews the document.
  1. Report from President
    1) Discussion around the fence repair/staining along 278th.  The bid of $1800 from Ausencio Trejo needs to be broken down into 1) the amount due for fence post replacement and 2) the staining.
  • Patrick will draft a request for the above as well as a notice to the two homeowners regarding getting their approval for the work, and outlining their portion of the cost (1/2 of fence repair).
  1. Report from Treasurer
    1) Larry Stout is working with two potential Property Management companies who might be able to alleviate the voluntary work done by the Board and thereby reduce the number of Board members actually necessary.  A discussion surrounded the different services that would be helpful.

2)  It was decided that a special meeting would be called to settle on a plan to move forward with the selection of a Property Management company and to discuss the cost involved.

  • Report from Vice President
    1) As discussed in our last meeting, Daneen Haynes shared three different sandwich boards to announce HOA happenings, which will be discussed at our next meeting.
